Jesus

Our Vision

To become a devoutly Biblical church for the whole family that glorifies God with a growing number of conversions, ministry leaders and congregations by proclaiming and showing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We will worship in spirit and truth and be a church of peace and stability with a good reputation in our community.

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

John 14:16 NIV

Haiti Relief Minimize

MESSAGE FROM TN BAPTIST CONVENTION DISASTER RELIEF:

Everyone is very concerned about the recent disastrous earthquake in the island nation of Haiti.  Many people have contacted the TN Baptist Disaster Relief office wanting to help.  It is heart-warming to see the desire of the people of the volunteer state wanting to help.  TN Baptist Disaster Relief will be involved in relief efforts as we are needed.  We are in contact with Baptist Global Response (Southern Baptist entity with primary responsibility for response in Haiti), the North American Mission Board and the Florida Baptist Convention.

The Florida Baptist Convention has been designated as the lead state in this response as they have a full-time presence in Haiti.  They are currently conducting assessments and gathering information on the specific needs and ways Southern Baptists can help.  Please know and keep in mind this will be a long-term response.  As specific opportunities arise, TN Baptist Disaster Relief will communicate those to our teams and through this website.

Two things that can be done immediately, are very important to the overall relief effort.  First pray!  Pray for the people impacted by this disaster.  Pray for the assessment teams that are going on-site.  Pray for the families, many living in Tennessee, who have loved ones in Haiti.  Second, give financially to the relief effort.  Follow this link to give online or by check.  All funds received will be used according to our Board-adopted policy on designated Disaster Relief contributions.
